• Vehicle information: VIN, license plate number, mileage, ZIP code, vehicle condition details, and any reported mechanical issues, cosmetic damage, accident history, or modifications.
• Photos and recordings: exterior and interior vehicle photos and optional engine audio recordings you upload during the offer process.
• Financial information: lien holder name, estimated payoff amount, and account identifiers if you indicate an existing loan on your vehicle.
• Appointment details: preferred pickup or drop-off date, time, and location.

Information Collected Automatically

• IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, and referring URL.
• Session identifiers and timestamps for each step of the offer process.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Generating offers: We use your vehicle information, photos, and condition details to produce AI-powered valuations and offer estimates.
• Communication: We use your phone number and email address to send offer updates, appointment confirmations, and service-related messages via SMS and email.
• Scheduling and fulfillment: We use appointment and location data to coordinate vehicle inspections, pickups, and transactions.
• Service improvement: We use aggregated, de-identified data to improve our valuation models and user experience.
• Legal compliance: We may use your information to comply with applicable laws, regulations, or legal processes.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Third-Party Services

We share limited information with trusted third-party service providers that help us operate the platform:

• Twilio: Delivers SMS messages for offer notifications, session updates, and appointment reminders. Your phone number and message content are transmitted to Twilio for delivery. See Twilio's Privacy Policy.
• Resend: Delivers transactional email for offer notifications and appointment confirmations. Your email address and message content are transmitted to Resend for delivery. See Resend's Privacy Policy.
• Anthropic (Claude AI): Powers our vehicle valuation engine. Vehicle details and condition information (not your contact information) are sent to Anthropic's API to generate offer estimates.
• Cloudflare R2: Stores uploaded vehicle photos and audio recordings in encrypted cloud storage.
• Stripe: If payment processing is used, Stripe handles payment transactions. We do not store full credit card or bank account numbers on our servers. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.

These providers are contractually obligated to use your information only for the purposes of providing their services to us and are subject to their own privacy policies.

4. SMS Communications

By providing your phone number and opting in during the offer process, you consent to receive SMS messages related to your vehicle offer, session status, and appointment scheduling. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for assistance. Message frequency varies. Standard message and data rates may apply. SMS consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.

5. Email Communications

By providing your email address during the offer process, you consent to receive transactional emails including offer estimates, offer status changes, and appointment confirmations. These are service-related communications necessary to fulfill your request and are not marketing messages.

6. Cookies and Tracking

Ozzy Offers uses minimal cookies and local storage to maintain your session state as you progress through the offer flow. We do not use third-party advertising trackers or sell data to ad networks. Specifically, we use:

• Session storage: Stores your session ID and authentication token so you can resume your offer if you leave and come back.
• Idempotency keys: Temporary session storage values that prevent duplicate submissions when locking an offer or scheduling an appointment.

You can clear this data at any time by clearing your browser's local storage. Doing so may require you to restart the offer process.

7. Data Security

We take the security of your information seriously and implement appropriate technical and organizational measures, including:

• AES-256 encryption of sensitive personal information (phone numbers, email addresses) at rest.
• TLS encryption for all data in transit between your browser and our servers.
• Encrypted cloud storage for vehicle photos and audio recordings.
• Session tokens that expire automatically.
• Audit logging of all data access and administrative actions.

No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Data Retention

We retain your session, offer, and vehicle data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, comply with legal obligations (including tax and motor vehicle title regulations), and resolve disputes. Vehicle photos and audio recordings are retained for up to 90 days after a session is completed or expires, unless a transaction is finalized, in which case they are retained in accordance with applicable record-keeping requirements.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Correction: Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Deletion: Request that we delete your personal information, subject to legal retention requirements.
